Japanese Flora
Archive copy
During our recent warehouse move, we uncovered a small number of original copies of the first green edition of Japanese Flora.
These are not reprints. They are original archive copies from the 2018 edition that had been set aside in storage.
Only a handful are available. Once these copies are gone, we do not expect more to become available.
Gentle, light, and detailed line drawings seem to float from the pages and out into the world. Sören Sangkuhl depicts masterful representations of Japanese flora in this beautifully bound linen hardcover edition.
Across 104 pages, the book presents intricate compositions and drawings shaped by precise detail and elegant linework. Incorporating mathematics into his distinctive approach, Sören brings graceful botanical forms together with sacred geometry, creating a linear graphic style with an almost ethereal quality.
