Roman Todorov
Roman Todorov was first exposed to tattooing in 1996 while studying at Bulgaria’s National Academy of Fine Arts. Inspired by a friend, he built a tattoo machine and started tattooing himself and his dad at home, beginning a decades-long journey into tattooing.
After his studies, Roman left Bulgaria to immerse himself in the art and craft of tattooing. He developed a passion for Japanese Irezumi tattoos during this time, which has been a major theme of his work ever since. In 2013 he settled in Bolzano, Italy, and opened the Tattoo Workshop, where he continues to develop his artistry and craft.
