Rotterdam, The Netherlands - The renowned tattoo art publishing house will visit 11 Italian cities in 19 days to reconnect with the tattoo community heavily impacted by Covid-19 restrictions.
The Kintaro Italy Tour marks a return to the road for the publishing house, specialising in tattoo books and museum-grade prints since 2001. Inspired by the spirit of connection in the tattoo community, the tour will visit 11 Italian cities in 19 days between September 20th and October 8th 2021, with a dedicated tour van packed with books and merchandise.
“It feels good to go back on the road again,” says Kintaro Founder André van Zomeren. The past year and a half have been challenging for many independent tattoo studios and artists. The global community was widely impacted by operational restrictions due to the close contact nature of tattooing and limits to the freedom to travel.
Kintaro Publishing has become an integral part of the community by elevating the art of tattooing and presenting the work of international artists in books, prints and collectables at tattoo conventions around the world.
Pre-order and on tour delivery will be available for all locations, and studios on the route are encouraged to sign-up to participate. The tour will visit Bolzano, Verona, Bologna, Rimini, Ancona, Perugia, Rome, Piombino, Livorno, Genoa and Milan.
